What’s On | Connacht
This weekend Glasgow Warriors have a chance to complete the 2022/23 BKT United Rugby Championship regular season undefeated at home when Connacht visit for round 18 of the league campaign on Saturday (22 April) night.
Alongside the business on the field there’s plenty for supporters to enjoy throughout the stadium, when gates open at 6pm.
Pre-match | Tommy Seymour match ball
This weekend our Glasgow Warriors Passing Challenge will feature in the South East entrance to the stadium. Glasgow Warriors players will be out and about across the stadium, so don’t miss your chance to take on your heroes with your finest passing skills.
The Clyde Bar and Clubhouse are both open to catch up with friends before the game.
On the 3G pitch, on the west side of the stadium, teams from Stirling, Falkirk, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Marr, and Clydebank will be taking part in the SP Energy Networks Community activity.
At kick-off, Warrior #196, Tommy Seymour, will return to Scotstoun to deliver the match ball. A club centurion, Tommy represented Glasgow Warriors on 132 occasions, scoring 49 tries.
Half-time | Prizes
At half-time there are prizes up for grabs with our High Ball challenge on the pitch. Details for how to get involved will be shared by the stadium announcer on the night.
Full-time | On field meet and greet
After the match, the Scottish x Italian Shield presentation will take place, followed by an on field signing session. More details will be shared on our social media channels on these closer to match day.
The Scottish x Italian Shield was won by the club following the 38-26 Munster victory in March. The presentation will take place immediately after the full-time whistle.
Grouped together with Edinburgh, Benetton, and Zebre Parma the Scottish x Italian Shield is won by highest ranked team in the league. We won after the Munster game, because we could no longer be taken over by any of these teams in the remaining URC regular-fixtures.
Winning the trophy also guaranteed our place in the 2023/24 Heineken Champions Cup.
