SP Energy Networks Championship Round Up
Another week, another SP Energy Networks Championship round. Despite the weather the round went ahead and saw Falkirk High qualify for the semi-finals.
This week saw five more schools compete in the SP Energy Networks Championship for the chance to qualify for the next round.
Lenzie Academy, Shawlands Academy, Lockerbie Academy, Falkirk High School and Robert Burns Academy all sent teams to compete this week. All of these schools have competed in the championship before which highlights how much the schools and players value it.
The weather on Tuesday had all four seasons with the start of the round being played in the snow. Despite the conditions, the teams were more than happy to play and great games of rugby were the result.
The winners of the day were Falkirk High. This is the first time they have qualified for the semi-final. Their qualification was won by a try in the final play of their last game.
Well done to all who took part in this week’s SP Energy Networks Championship round!
