Wilson nominated for Coach of the Month
Glasgow Warriors Head Coach Danny Wilson has been nominated for the Guinness Rainbow Cup Coach of the Month award, the first time since the award’s inception that he has been shortlisted by the competition organisers.
The nomination comes off the back of securing back-to-back victories over Edinburgh for the first time since the 2012/13 campaign, the first of which ensured that the 1872 Cup would be remaining in Glasgow for the first time since 2017.
A comprehensive performance saw the Warriors earn a bonus-point 29-19 victory at Scotstoun to secure the trophy, before an impressive 31-24 win over their cross-country rivals at BT Murrayfield last time out.
Wilson’s side concludes the month of May with a trip to face the Dragons next weekend, with the match set to take place at Cardiff City Stadium due to ongoing pitch work at Rodney Parade.
Glasgow Warriors supporters can vote by going to the official Guinness PRO14 social media channels.
