Glasgow Warriors renew partnership with Hilton Glasgow

Hilton Glasgow has become the latest member of the Glasgow Warriors network of sponsors and partners to renew their association with the club, after the iconic city centre hotel extended their contract with the club until 2025.

Having initially come on board in 2019, the hotel has become an integral part of each Glasgow Warriors season, hosting the club’s annual Awards Dinner in both 2022 and 2023 upon its return to an in-person event.

The hotel has also hosted Members Events in both 2021/22 and 2022/23 and will once again host the opening Members Event of the 2023/24 season, with Head Coach Franco Smith and Stafford McDowall amongst those attending on Tuesday (5 December).

Through “Travel with Purpose” Hilton’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy the hotel drives responsible travel and tourism globally paving the way to a net-zero future. They have recently renovated their 320 bedrooms, 14 high-quality meeting rooms and Grand Ballroom, continuing to lead the way in guest satisfaction and comfort on their stay in Glasgow.

Managing Director, Al Kellock, said: “We have enjoyed working with the iconic Hilton Glasgow for a number of years now and are pleased to be continuing this partnership together.

“The hospitality that Calum and his team lay on for our annual Awards Dinner and exclusive supporters events is always exceptional, helping us to create memorable occasions for our players, staff, and their families, as well as our dedicated fan base.

“We’re pleased also to be working with Calum’s team to provide more access to the gym and leisure facilities for our players this season.

“Hilton Glasgow is a partner that continually goes above and beyond for Glasgow Warriors, and for that we’re grateful.”

Callum Ross, General Manager of Hilton Glasgow, added: “We are delighted that we at Hilton Glasgow are able to continue to partner with our friends at Scotstoun.

“First of all, we are supporters of the club, and have greatly enjoyed our partnership to date and look forward to continuing to cheer for the team on the field.

“In addition, we are particularly looking forward to learning what we can from the elite performance environment that’s been created by Glasgow Warriors, and are excited by the potential in this partnership as we move forward.”
