We’re back in two weeks time for the first round of the 1872 Cup, against our Scottish rivals Edinburgh. Friday 22 December, kick off 7.35pm.
Glasgow look threatening with the ball and win another penalty, this time on Northampton’s 22. Thompson puts it to five metres.
The visitor’s play the scrum and a lovely turnover sees the home team win a penalty. Thompson sends the ball to Northampton territory.
10 seconds left on the clock, and Glasgow with a man advantage lose the ball in their own 22.
The maul looks good and the Warriors pile over the line. The referees whistle blows up and he runs under the posts handing Glasgow an automatic seven points. The score now 19-28

The back three threaten again, first Sebastian Cancelliere breaks on the North Stand wing, he releases it to the supporting full back Josh McKay, he makes 30 and finds Ollie Smith on the opposite wing who takes it to five metres.

Smith is wide with the conversion, leaving the score at 15-5 to the visitors.

The ball goes through Glasgow hands and wide, but Ollie Smith can’t hold on in contact and Northampton have the scrum out wide on halfway.
Smith extends the lead with a penalty, making it 10-5 to the visitors.
