Gregor Hiddleston attacks the ruck well on his own line and wins the penalty. It’s a quick clearance from Ross Thompson and Glasgow win the line out on the halfway.

Ulster move the ball back to the middle of the park, but Glasgow are pinged at the ruck and Ulster win the penalty in front of the main stand.


Billie Burns opts for the crossfield kick, which is won, but Kyle Rowe covers well defusin the threat for now.


Ulster lineout

The home side apply the pressure on Glasgow with a five metre line out. They then move to forwards play battering the Glasgow defensive line, can they hold firm.

Just five minutes remain in this match. Neither team has broken the deadlock in the preceding ten minute period.


Hiddleston misses his target and Ulster clear their lines.

Ulster manage to string a handful of phases together but the opposition forwards stay strong and Oli Kebble turns his opposite man over winning a penalty that Thompson sends into Ulster’s 22.

Glasgow Warriors’ Ross Thompson sends the ball out onto Ulster’s 22. Hiddleston finds his man in the set piece, but two phases on and Ulster turn the ball over.


Both teams are looking to create something with a even balance of possession. However, errors on both parts, handling and penalties, are taking momentum out of the game somewhat.

It looked for all the money in the world like Stewart would rumble over, but Venter, Sordoni and company get under the ball and hold it up.

Flannery turns down the shot at goal and will go to the corner.

The referee gives the penalty to Ulster once more though, and back to the Glasgow 22 we go again.

Big defensive effort from the Warriors again, as Venter and Lucio Sordoni combine.

Munn and Jordan then bring down Robert Baloucoune, before Ally Miller wins the turnover!

Doak finds Kieran Treadwell, but Max Williamson levels his opposite number!

Great work from Venter again, before Munn has a go in midfield.

The referee gives a decision in midfield that Ulster supporters agree with and Glasgow supporters disagree with, but the end result is that Ulster have a lineout on the Glasgow 22.

The centre forces the dropped ball and Glasgow have a scrum 10m from their own line.


Penalty Ulster

Big charge from Henco Venter off the back of the lineout, but the referee penalises the back-rower for holding on and Ulster will go to the corner.

Stewart is penalised for crossing, and Weir will have the chance to clear to touch.

Weir slips as he clears and Ulster come back with the ball from the sliced kick.

Tom Stewart trundles forward with the ball and Ulster up to the Glasgow 22, but Jamie Dobie hits him with a solid tackle and forces the knock on.
