It’s a little bit of a wait until our next home game here at Scotstoun Stadium.
SAturday 17 February we play Dragons in the BKT United Rugby Championship. That night we also celebrate the clubs across Glasgow, the West, and Caledonia in Club of Origin night!

Kyle Rowe claims the spoils
A final flurry from the Warriors. And the East Stand are in full voice once again.
A lovely break from Kyle Steyn, gathers the hosts 30 metres.
The back row is denied again. A break away out wide and run in from 20 metres sees Ferrie score another try in as many weeks, but this one is also chalked off for going forward on the off load.

Cornell du Preez crosses the whitewash from the maul for a second Toulon try. The referee does go up the stairs though.

This man is on fire tonight. Another stolen line out and then a line break for the ages. Huw Jones gathers the ball out wide, a little dummy, and he’s home free. The pace is perfect, the turn of pace beautiful. What a second try for Huw Jones and the bonus point!

Finally, in the eighth phase, the man who started the move plays a miss pass out wide to the supporting full back, Josh McKay who is in clear for the try line. After being denied a score early on he claims his try for tonight!
Glasgow have now moved right up to the try line and are battering the Toulon defence under the sticks. No try yet.
Johnny Matthews however steals the ball in the line out and injects some pace in the middle. He releases the ball to the backs who advance.
Both teams stuck in a midfield battle, neither making a great deal of yards. This ends with a Glasgow attack resulting in the hosts being penalised in the ruck, allowing the visitors to clear their lines.

Toulon manage to keep the pressure on in Glasgow’s 22. A handful of phases on from the kick, and winger Gaël Drean collects a cross field kick and scores in front of the north stand.
The conversion is missed and the score moves to 12-5.
Toulon are opting to pin Glasgow back against their own line, opting for a deep kicking game. On this occasion they find clear space and Kyle Steyn has a long way to go to tidy things up.
Solid defence from the Warriors, before Rowe and McKay counter from the kick ahead.
Horne clears from the restart, and Toulon have the lineout on halfway.

A knock-on in midfield brings about the half-time whistle – tries from Kyle Rowe and Huw Jones have Glasgow on course for the last 16 as things stand!

Jordan finds touch 15m from the Glasgow line.
The lineout throw is just too long for the hosts, and Toulon come away with it.
However, Dempsey holds up his man in midfield and it’s a scrum to the Warriors.
This time the turnover stands!
Lucio Sordoni wins the penalty at the ruck, and Jordan will kick to touch – Glasgow lineout on the Toulon 10m line.
Swan Rebbadj takes the lineout, but Fagerson again with the turnover!
Toulon somehow win it back again though, and play continues.
Glasgow almost away again straight from the restart, but the final pass to Rowe is just behind the winger and drifts into touch.

It’s Huw Jones who slices through, the centre cutting through from a delightfully subtle pass from Tuipulotu on the 22.
Horne adds the conversion for a 12-0 lead.
Play is stopped as the attack was getting a bit close for comfort to an injured Warrior in midfield – restart will be with a Glasgow scrum on the Toulon 22.
A ruck turnover from Fagerson and lip from Toulon gives Glasgow the platform on the 22, and Jones is looking interested…
Horne gives it to Miller and Tuipulotu follows suit.
Toulon turn over and go wide, but the pass to Viliere is a mile and a half forward and the scrum is awarded on the Glasgow 10m line.
Back comes McKay from the clearing kick, and Dempsey offloads to Ally Miller out wide.
Big carry from Jack Dempsey in the midfield, but there’s a knock-on on the ground and Toulon have the feed on their own 22.
Back down to the 22 go Glasgow, as Horne is taken late and the penalty awarded from where the ball landed.
Horne leaves the conversion just wide, and it’s a 7-0 scoreline.
This one will count!
Glasgow work the overlap to perfection, as Horne and Jones combine to free Rowe on the 22.
The Scotland flyer is unstoppable from there, going over in the corner for the game’s opening score!

Facundo Isa comes away from the base of the lineout, before Sinzelle clears.

This time it’s Max Williamson, and it’s spun wide to Tuipulotu who chips ahead for Steyn to chase!

Unlucky – Kyle Rowe thinks he’s pinched the ball, but the ref says it was illegally done at the ruck.
There’s a break here for attention to a Toulon injury.
Now its the visitors on the atack, as Viliere takes play up to the Glasgow 22.

Harsh, harsh call…
Josh McKay goes over for one of the tries of the season, racing clear from his own 10m line and over in the corner.
However, the referee and TMO spot a marginal block from Scott Cummings on halfway, and chalk the score off.
Toulon miss touch though, and Horne finds the lineout on halfway.
Glasgow whip it wide from the scrum, and McKay flies up to halfway.
Toulon return the kick ahead, and Glasgow counter.
Great work in defence from Matt Fagerson and Jordan, as the pair combine to hold up Smaili on the carry and win the turnover.
Scrum to the Warriors, 30m from their own line.
Smaili leaves the kick short, and George Horne clears to touch on the Glasgow 10m line.
Lobzhanidze has a go in the fringes, and the French side flip it to Viliere.
The pass is forward, but there was advantage being played and the visitors have a penalty on halfway.
Mathieu Smaili will have a shot at goal.
A kick battle ensues, before Viliere takes and is tackled by Matt Fagerson.
Tuipulotu grubbers in behind, but Sinzelle covers.

Toulon turn over and kick long through Gabin Viliere – the bounce favours the visitors, as it bounces into touch inside the Glasgow 22 for a 50-22.
Toulon clear, but Jordan takes well on the run and Glasgow up to the visitors’ 22.
