Match Preview | USA Perpignan (A) | Saturday 14 January
It’s Round Three of the EPCR Challenge Cup and this time it is Perpignan's turn to host Glasgow Warriors in what is sure to be a warmer climate than the first clash back in December.
It was Glasgow Warriors who triumphed over Perpignan at BT Murrayfield following a weather induced move away from Scotstoun. Glasgow led for the majority of the game despite efforts from Perpignan and a one-point lead at the 60-minute mark. The Warriors solidified their win with Sebastian Cancelliere doing what he does best and getting himself on the score sheet with a try.
Looking ahead to this weekend’s fixture, Glasgow Warriors are heading into the game on a winning streak with six wins in their last six matches. USA Perpignan are sitting at the bottom end of their respective league and lost their previous two European matches. Should the Warriors continue their form of late, the team would make the last 16 of the Challenge Cup.
