Duncy’s back
Five years after he last pulled on the Glasgow Warriors shirt, Duncan Weir will be returning to Scotstoun this summer after agreeing a long-term contract to return to his first professional club. Here's how you reacted to the news...
Guess who
It didn’t take long for the Warrior Nation to work out who the club’s newest signing was, with a host of fans correctly identifying the fly-half’s silhouette teasing the announcement. Although Bob Ross in a Warriors shirt also proved a popular suggestion…

Worcester farewells
Of course, our Warrior cousins down the road in Worcester were understandably disappointed to see Weir’s departure confirmed. A player who has given his all to the Sixways outfit, he comes back to Glasgow with cult hero status assured in the south of England.
➡️ All the best to @duncan_weir who will head home to rejoin Glasgow Warriors at the end of the season.

For the Warrior Nation, though, 2021/22 and the sight of Weir in a Glasgow jersey once again cannot come quickly enough…

Brilliant news. Some experience at the highest level at fly half. Proven at test level and excellent player. Looking forward to seeing him back and will be an excellent mentor for the likes of Ross Thomson. Game management signing here I reckon too #warriornation https://t.co/w9dqbNcR0w
