Warriors spread festive cheer at Glasgow Children’s Hospital
Glasgow Warriors players and staff helped patients get into the festive spirit yesterday, as the squad made it's annual Christmas visit to the Glasgow Children's Hospital.
Squad members including Ali Price, DTH van der Merwe, Niko Matawalu and Fraser Brown were on hand to chat to children and parents at the Yorkhill hospital, happily posing for photos and signing autographs over the course of the afternoon.
Head Coach Dave Rennie and co-captains Ryan Wilson and Callum Gibbins were also part of a 28-strong group giving out flags and calendars to children, as the Warriors continue to lend their support to the club’s official charity partner.
Founded in 2001, the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity supports children and families being treated at the hospital.
In the 19 years since, the charity has invested over £30 million in the hospital, making a tangible difference to the lives of in the care of Scotland’s largest children’s hospital.

“We’re so grateful to each of the players for taking the time to visit, and for bringing so many smiles to our young
patients.”
