Greg Peterson

Second-rower

USA international Greg Peterson returned to Scotstoun for a second spell on a short-term contract in October 2023, with Head Coach Franco Smith adding cover in the second-row.

Initially arriving at Scotstoun in the 2015/16 season, Peterson made 32 appearances for the Warriors during a three-year stint at the club.

The Sydney-born second-rower has also represented Bordeaux Begles and Leicester Tigers during his career, as well as making 75 appearances for Newcastle Falcons.

He represented the USA at both the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups, as well as captaining the USA Eagles to a victory in a friendly match against French heavyweights Toulouse in September 2023.

Peterson’s second Scotstoun debut came in October 2023, providing the scoring pass to George Horne for Glasgow’s fifth try in a 43-25 win over Leinster.
