A proven international fly-half, Domingo Miotti made the switch to Scotstoun in the summer of 2021.
He made his club debut in December 2021, coming off the bench for the final 15 minutes in a 33-14 win over the Dragons at Scotstoun.
The number 10 joined the Warriors after an impressive stint at Western Force, scoring 46 points in five outings for the Perth franchise in the 2021 edition of Super Rugby AU.
Prior to that, Miotti had been an integral part of the Jaguares’ run to the 2019 Super Rugby Final, scoring 46 points in the Argentinian side’s history-making run to a runners-up spot.
His Super Rugby debut has gone down as one of the competition’s most memorable, scoring two tries off the bench in the final 10 minutes to seal a comeback victory for the Jaguares over the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.
Miotti initially broke into senior rugby with Tucuman in his native Argentina, with his proficiency from the tee allied with smart distribution and an intelligent running game.
His international debut came in the 2020 Rugby Championship, contributing eight points off the bench in a 16-16 draw with Australia in Sydney.
The fly-half has also represented his country at ‘A’ and U20 levels, as well as appearing on the 2016 World Rugby 7s Series.
