Marr out in force supporting Glasgow Warriors
Marr Rugby Club's young players are supporting Glasgow Warriors in Exeter and at Scotstoun Stadium this Saturday.
Marr’s primary sevens will be in Exeter supporting the men’s team at Sandy Park in round three of the Investec Champions Club. The Ayrshire players are also playing matches against Exeter and Creditons under-12s on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the girl’s team will form the Guard of Honour at Scotstoun Stadium. This is for the women’s team playing their first-ever home game. They face Ireland’s Wolfhounds in the Celtic Challenge at 2.30pm.
Marr’s Head of Youth Rugby, Colin Sturgeon, said: “Marr P7s set off from Troon this afternoon for their Exeter Tour as they go on the road to support Glasgow Warriors.
“The 40 strong group of players, coaches and parents are incredibly excited to see the Warriors in Champions Cup action in the South West.
“We’re delighted we can offer our young players these experiences. Experiencing professional rugby down south while cheering on our team, and playing a part in a historic game in Glasgow.”
