Lap the Map this May with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity
Glasgow Warriors supporters and their families are being called upon to join Team Glasgow across the month of May, helping to Lap the Map in support of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
The virtual fundraising challenge will see Team Glasgow go up against Team Edinburgh – led by Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity – to see which team will be the first to lap all 75,868km of Europe’s coastlines, with over 1,000 people having taken part in last year’s efforts.
We’re encouraging the Warrior Nation to lend their support to our Official Charity Partner as they look to prove that West is Best, with the month-long activity kicking off on Monday 3 May.
Every kilometre counts, whether you’re running, walking or wheeling your wheelchair – it’s all for a good cause.
Once you register, you’ll be sent a fundraising pack, a Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity t-shirt and instructions on how to join the official Strava Club in order to track your distance.

Glasgow Warriors flanker Chris Fusaro is amongst those getting behind the campaign, telling glasgowwarriors.org: “Lap the Map is a fantastic charity event. It’s easy to do and you can get outside and enjoy the exercise whilst also raising money for a great cause.
“It’s so rewarding working with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. The work they do is so vital and the staff at the hospital always do it with a smile on their face and are dedicated to helping these kids get better. When we get to visit the kids and have a laugh with them it’s brilliant.
“I’ve got kids of my own and I can’t imagine what it must be like for parents with kids in hospital. To be able to contribute just a little bit to help out with the charity is something we are extremely proud of as a club.”
