FOSROC joins Glasgow Warriors sponsor network
Leading international construction brand, FOSROC, has become the latest addition to the Glasgow Warriors sponsor network, agreeing to become the new Official Sponsor of Glasgow Warriors Camps.
The deal will sees FOSROC become the Official Sponsor of the Glasgow Warriors Player Mentor and Leadership programme.
This partnership arrives as the defending BKT URC champions continue their preparations for the 2024/25 campaign.
Founded in its current form in 1972, FOSROC has been a long-standing supporter of Scottish Rugby, having previously been the title sponsor of both the regional academy at Scotstoun and of the FOSROC Super Series.
With offices and manufacturing locations in over 25 countries, the company also focuses on delivering advice, training and on-site support across its network of sites worldwide.
The first FOSROC Glasgow Warriors Camps have taken place at Scotstoun, with future Warriors benefitting from hands-on coaching and expertise delivered by the team of Glasgow Warriors community coaches. Already this summer, families from the local community benefited from support from this sponsorship to take part in the FOSROC Glasgow Warriors Camps.
Making a difference
Speaking following the announcement, Glasgow Warriors Managing Director Al Kellock said: “We’re extremely pleased to be able to add FOSROC to our family of sponsors and partners, as we look to continue to make a tangible difference to the lives of those within our community.
“FOSROC have been keen supporters of Scottish rugby for many years, something that is clear through their support of our camps and of our Player Mentor and Leadership programme, helping us make an impact to players of all ages.
“We’re excited to be able to work with the team going forward and we look forward to seeing this partnership grow and develop.”
FOSROC’s General Sales Manager Tim Mole commented “At FOSROC we are delighted to partner with Glasgow Warriors enabling us to not only cheer on the teams from the sidelines but also to widen our relationship on and off the pitch in supporting a number of initiatives.
“From Summer and Winter Camp sponsorship for local children right through to supporting, mentoring and guiding both current and past players from both the men’s and women’s teams regarding opportunities to develop their own careers in the construction industry. It’s a great match and one we’re excited to help develop.”
