Glasgow Warriors return to Scotstoun Stadium next Saturday (7 September) for The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly.
They play Connacht at home, with the match kickking off at 6pm.
Glasgow win another penalty line out, this time on the 22 mark. The ball goes loose and the referee calls it a day.
Another loose ball and kick chase leads to another score from the home side. 31-0
Glasgow can clear the lines, with a penalty coming from that earlier scrum. Richie Simpson puts Glasgow back in Zebre’s half.
The ball goes loose, Zebre kick it all the way down to Glasgow’s 22. Amena Caqusau show us the pace he possesses with an absolutely rapid run back. He manages to tidy up any threats, before the referee blows up for a Glasgow scrum.
From the try, Richie Simpson has an opportunity to put Glasgow right in the corner next to Zebre’s try line. His kick is good and they have 15 metres to make up from the set piece.
Henco Venter has a go at the line.
The home side score their fourth score of the match. This time through a 20 metre break from the number eight, Giovanni Licata. The conversion is good too, taking the score up to 24-0.
Glasgow have had a few opportunities to mount an attack, but Zebre have held firm in defence. This time they win a penalty and send the ball down, deep into Glasgow’s half easing any pressure that’s been on in the previous few minutes.
Glasgow turnover on their own line and Richie Simpson makes 60 metres before being chased down. He doesn’t have any support though and the ball goes loose and into touch.
Zebre begin to pick up the pace in this game. First a fast moving maul in front of the main stand, then quick ball through the hands of the bags. Another set of phases and they are up to Glasgow’s five metre line.
A quick shift in momentum, Zebre kick down field and off the set piece score their third try of the match. They extend their lead to 19-0.
A quick tap penalty from the replacement scrum-half Sean Kennedy takes Glasgow within five metres of Zebre’s line.

The backs have an opportunity to string some phases together, passing the ball wide. They’re looking a little more structured and this young group of players are beginnig to play with some intent.

However, Venter is penalised for not releasing at the breakdown in a split-second decision, and Zebre boot it off the park for half-time.
Big carry from McKay, before the ball is recycled to Jordan who frees Oguntibeju.
The big man charges into contact and takes three defenders with him, one of whom is penalised for not rolling away.
Weir finds touch inside the Zebre 22.
The home side win the penalty at the scrum, and Montemauri sends the ball downfield.

Unlucky from Glasgow, as the set-play almost works to perfection only for the ball to go to ground at the last moment.

A quick restart from the Warriors and Zebre are caught napping – they gather the restart but fumble at the ruck, giving Glasgow the scrum.
A second score for the hosts – Montemauri’s miss-pass is almost picked off by Jordan, but instead Giulio Bertaccini breaks clear. He’s brought down, but offloads to Albert Batista for the score.
Montemauri converts for a 14-0 lead.
Afshar booms his clearance downfield and Zebre have the lineout just inside the Glasgow half.

Fusco takes it on himself and is within 5m, but Weir gets in the way and wins the turnover!
McKay does brilliantly in the air again, but this time the decision goes Zebre’s way – Montemauri finds touch inside the Glasgow 22.
Good maul progress initially from Glasgow, but the referee spots a knock on as Afshar looks to play the ball and it’s a scrum to the hosts.
McKay takes a high ball superbly and Zebre are penalised for going off their feet – Weir finds touch on the Zebre 22.

Turnover ball from Angus Fraser sees it spun wide from McKay, but Trotter can’t quite gather the ball and it drifts into touch.
Weir makes up for it immediately with a great spot blitz in defence, before Logan Trotter forces a mistake and chases after the loose ball.
Scrappy for Zebre, who kick long.
Weir’s kick in behind is just too long, and Zebre have the lineout on halfway.
Great work from Oguntibeju to charge down the kick, and Glasgow come forward with Jordan and Salmon.
A Glasgow pass is intercepted, but Tom Jordan is there to cover the chip in behind and return with interest – Zebre lineout on their own 10m line.
Good pressure from Oguntibeju off the restart earns Glasgow an attacking lineout, from which Duncan Munn crashes forward.
The first score of the night goes to the hosts – it’s Fusco who gets the ball down in the end, the scrum-half sniping over from close range.
Giovani Montemauri converts and it’s a 7-0 scoreline.
A brief stoppage for some treatment, before Zebre come back once more – Alessandro Fusco injects some pace with the clean break, before a super try-saver from Josh McKay and Ben Salmon on Ben Cambriani out wide.
The home side think they’ve grabbed the opening score of the night – the maul proves too powerful to stop from close-range, with Tommaso di Bartomoleo in range, only for the referee to rule out the score for a knock on.
Scrum to the Warriors, from which the Glasgow pack earn the penalty and Weir clears to touch.
Weir gets in to steal the ball at the ruck, but play is brought back for an earlier advantage.
The hosts kick to the corner.
This time the handling error comes from the visitors, and Zebre have the feed on the Glasgow 22.
Once again the Glasgow pack force the error from their hosts, and win the scrum on their own 22.
Good work from Josh McKay and Ben Afshar frees up the blindside for the Warriors, but Zebre scramble and win the penalty at the ruck.
