A final opportunity to record a score from the Warriors, but the Lions, like they have all half just keep things tight and don’t let their opponents through.
Hanru Sirgel breaks through the line for another Lions try. Off the back of the ruck and from the gap on the five metre.
The scrum turns to a free kick and the home team opt to reset.
A handling error hands the Lions the set piece on half way.
Lions move ahead with a kicked penalty.
Glasgow hold Lions off so far. But, the referee’s hand goes up for advantage. Lions win possession on the five metre line.

Josh McKay bundles over near the posts, from a Tuipulotu offload. They run back quickly to restart. Weir converts.

Glasgow win a penalty on Lions’ 22. Duncan Weir kicks to the corner. This comes after a 15 phase attack, with no sign of the Lions defence creaking.
Glasgow win the line out and look to work through the phases and build pressure. But, two rucks in and Dempsey is pinned to the floor and it’s a penalty.
An intercept try in their own half. This time Sanele Nohamba runs it in.

Some relief for Glasgow, a Euan Ferrie tackle forces a knock on and Glasgow can settle here and look to build an attack. They are on Lions’ ten metre line.
Another offloading counter attack, and another try. This time from back row JC Pretorious.
They are a man down, but they have just pulled Glasgow’s defence to pieces. Rabz Maxwane scoring his second try. The ball rip from McDowall’s hand at he ruck and the counter attack, was unstoppable.
The conversions edges Lions back in front, by one point.
Edwill van der Merwe runs in a try from his own 22. A kick chase that Glasgow just cannot defend.
Kyle Rowe slips through the defence and makes 40 metres. But, he’s turned over and off Lions go!
Lions counter from that try and make it all the way to Glasgow’s try line. However, the ball goes loose at the last move and Stafford McDowall gathers. He finds George Horne, who passes to Kyle Steyn.
Steyn considers the run, but there’s no space and he punts the ball all the way back to Lions’ 22. What a kick that was.
Glasgow back in the lead.
Euan Ferrie finally gets his first Glasgow try. After those elusive scores earlier in the season.
Glasgow kick to touch. The line out is good and the Johnny Matthews maul is underway. Three phases later and Euan Ferrie dives over, with a stretching hand!

Lions steal the Glasgow ball, from the ruck as they look to exit their own half. Next phase Glasgow are penalised over the ruck and it’s a Lions penalty.
Lions look to create a threatening attack with a short line out to the scrum half. He makes a half break and the home team reset on the 22.
That is the final play of the half. Two players down, but the Emirates Lions lead by a point.
Scott Cummings wins the line out and the maul is formed. However, the covering defence disrupt the drive and Johnny Matthews can’t get his offload away. Lions kick the ball clear.
Another card for Lions, this time for a deliberate knock on. The offender number eight Francke Horn.
Henco Venter breaks, offloads to George Horne, he breaks, off loads to Johnny Matthews, he breaks, offloads to Cummings. Lions scrambling to defend this open play.

Ruan Venter is shown a straight red card. He is off for the remainder of the game. The officials agreeing their is a high degree of danger.
Tom Jordan takes an upright tackle straight to the head. Ruan Venter is the tackler, so this could be bad news for the back row.
Glasgow caught off guard here. Winger Rabz Maxwane breaking on the wing and he can’t be stopped.
Oli Kebble, Angus Fraser, and Murphy Walker all go off.

Lions dominate that set piece and win the penalty back. They clear their lines.
Glasgow opt for a scrum just inside the home side’s 22. And, if you look to touch they are about to switch their full front row here.
A perfectly executed tackle from Gus Fraser turns the ball over on Lions’ own 22. Glasgow move the ball quickly and attack the line.
There is no clear grounding and the try is overruled.
It looks as though Kyle’s try was held up with his opposite man working hard to lift Rowe off the ground as he crosses the whitewash.
Quick scrum. Ball moves away fast, into the hands of Josh McKay. He brushes off the attempted tackle makes metres and offloads to Kyle Rowe, who runs in for his second try.
From the kick off Henco Venter and George Horne force the turnover right on Lions’ 22. Glasgow scrum.
Another unsuccessful scrum leads to a Lions penalty and they choose to kick the points, this time successfully.
Multi-phase play there from Lions. They play the ball short of the ruck and batter the Glasgow defence over and over, gaining metres with each phase. Finally, they win a penalty on Glasgow’s five metre line.
Angus Fraser, Oli Kebble, Rory Darge, all making significant metres as they look to wear down the Lions defence line. A lot of territory won there, but a knock on ends the play and hands the ball back to the home side.
Glasgow put a lot of pressure on that scrum, and plead to the referee to move play on. He does and hands Glasgow a free kick. They reset the scrum.
Glasgow have the set piece just outside their 22. Glasgow warned for their scrum set up. They go again.
George Horne converts!
George Horne then grubbers a ball through, which Kyle Row picks up, he then puts through his own chip and chase. He wins the foot race and dives down on the ball to score the first try of the match.
During this paul Ruan Venter also received a yellow card.
Gregor Brown pulls a Lions ball out the air and breaks the line at the same time. Immediately Glasgow’s backs react and inject intensity into this play.
Lombard misses another kick, this time in front of the posts from 20 metres. A relief for Glasgow.
On their own ten metre line, Glasgow are called offsite. Sione Tuipulotu the offending player.
It’s been a positive passage of play for the visitors over the past few minutes. It all started with a pressure tackle from Kyle Steyn, placing his opposite man in touch, in Lions’ 22.
There has been no scoring outcome, but Glasgow are playing with intensity and running good lines.
At the end of that passage play, it was a huge Lions punt down field that rolled all the way over the dead ball line, resetting any momentum.
Stand off Gianni Lombard has an opportunity to open the scoring from 35 metres out, but doesn’t make it and Glasgow clear the ball back up field.
Full back Quan Horne kicks off the match, and Lions win the ball back from the kick.
