For a high tackle the Edinburgh prop, Marshall Sykes is sent to the sin bin. This also results in a replacement, Johnny Matthews for George Turner.
Ross Thompson kicks into the Edinburgh 22.
Healy adds another three points, as Glasgow are caught offside in defence.
Breaking in his own half Duhan van Der Merwe scores from 60 metres in the corner, moving Edinburgh back in front.

McDowall pins Edinburgh back again. This time the kick goes to touch and it’s a Glasgow line out on halfway.

It’s a second try for Glasgow, some lovely passing from Zander Fagerson to Suione Tuipulotu, who steps his opposite defender. Tuipulotu then has Stafford McDowall on his shoulder who gathers the offload and stretches in for the try from 15 metres. The conversion is good. 12-8
A Kyle Rowe kick chase sees Glasgow first threatening attack in the half. He’s wiped out by his oppsoite man leaving Scott Cummings in support to chase the ball, he has van Der Merwe covering in defence, who reaches the ball first.
Glasgow steal the line out and Sione Tuipulotu and Henco Venter make good yards, with powerful running in the centre of the park.
Mike Adamson hands Glasgow a free kick and the scrum, allowing them to clear their own lines. Edinburgh line out on Glasgow’s ten.

Duhan van Der Merwe breaks on the wing and has Ali Price in support, who makes another 30 metres, bringing Edinburgh back into Glasgow’s 22.
A defensive effort is needed and finally, Glasgow rip the ball forward from Edinburgh winning the scrum.

Healy kicks the penalty and edges Edinburgh in front. 8-7
Glasgow are penalised for not rolling away at he ruck, upgrading the Edinburgh scrum to a penalty. Healy opts for the posts.
Under pressure Glasgow knock on on their own five metre line.
It’s a high tackle and Adamson deems it enough for a penalty only. Glasgow kick and win the ten metre line out.
Bill Mata, puts a massive tackle in on Josh McKay who collects the clearance kick from Healy. Instantly Mike Adamson calls for a penalty and the tackle is now being reviewed.
Glasgow turnover the lineout, after a second penalty was handed to the hosts, and George Horne exits, easing the pressure for now.
Ben Healy goes to the corner after Glasgow are penalised at the ruck, setting up a five metre line out.

Gilchrist comes on a crash ball but Fagerson is there immediately, latching onto the ball and winning the penalty.
There’s a break in play for attention to a couple of players in midfield.
Edinburgh run it back from the restart and Mata is the extra man – McKay does well to bring him down, before Rowe sweeps up a grubber from Currie and clears.
The hosts hit back – it’s Darcy Graham who makes the initial break on the wing, and when the ball is recycled, Matt Currie has just enough room to squeeze over in the opposite corner under pressure from Jones.
Healy can’t add the extras so the scoreline reads 7-5 to Glasgow.
This time it’s knocked on by a Glasgow hand, and Edinburgh have the scrum 35m from the Glasgow line.

Edinburgh look to go wide quickly, but Bennett’s pass is forward and Glasgow have the scrum.

Healy then cuts through for Edinburgh, but Jones is there to pick off the offload and McKay clears long.
Edinburgh look to find Duhan van der Merwe on the inside, but the winger drops the ball on his way through and Glasgow have the scrum just outside their 22.
Back come the home side, as Mata and Schoeman carry in midfield.
