The ball comes out the back of the scrum for Exeter, but pressure from George Horne forces a knock on, gathered then immediately by Euan Ferrie who scoops it up and dives over the line.

EUAN FERRIE scores his first try for Glasgow Warriors!

80

GLASGOW TRY

79

Josh Mckay scores

Devastating. Glasgow cross the whitewash with an excellent conterattack, starting with Tom Jordan, and finishing with Josh Mckay touching down. But, just like Exeter earlier, a forward pass undoes the work. Scrum on five metres.

78

Exeter lead

Henry Slade adds the extras from the touchline. Exeter take the lead for the first time.

77

Exeter try

Zac Wimbush is successful this time out on the wing. The score goes level with two minutes to play.

76

Exeter scrum

The pressure is well and truly on here. Another knock on sees the hosts win the set piece, ten metres from Glasgow’s try line.

75

Exeter threaten

Exeter looking to capitalise on every move they make. Another break from their backs making 30 metres back onto Glasgow’s 22.

73

Glasgow penalty

Just seven minutes to go, and five points in the game. Glasgow ease the Exeter pressure that has characterised this last quarter.

George Horne, shows how important a win of the ball that was, with the scream as he rises from the ruck. A big kick down field from Tom Jordan.

67

No try

A massive jeer goes round the stadium as the try is pulled back. The referee notices a knock on in the close exchanges just before the chip, and after much deliberation he deems the ball forward.

Glasgow stay five points clear!

67

Exeter try

Second row Lewis Pearson chips the ball over for the on coming Zach Wimbush on the wing. The bounce is perfect and he’s clear to dive in on the corner.

We’re level, 17-17!

63

Exeter try

A sustained period of attack pays off with a short range snipe from Dan Frost. With just over 15 minutes to play there’s just five points in it.

Glasgow Warriors 17-12 Exeter Chiefs

61

Exeter penalty

A sustained period of attack from Exeter since Glasgow’s try. The ball is loose though, with Glasgow defending well and shutting down the potential breaks.

However, George Horne is penalised. Exeter approach again.

55

Glasgow try

It’s been coming. A break from Scott Cummings, cutting right through the Exeter defence in the mid-field. We then offloads, one handedly, to George Horne, who slings a wide pass over three defenders where he find Josh McKay.

McKay then quickly offloads to Sione Tuipulotu who’s in support. Tuipulotu then has another three defenders to beat, but he’s running full tilt and slides through easily to score.

Try two! Glasgow Warriors 17-7 Exeter Chiefs.

54

Replacements

George Turner, Jamie Bhatti, Richie Gray come on for Gregor Hiddleston, Oli Kebble, and Alex Samuel.

54

Ball lost

Huw Jones and Josh McKay don’t connect well as they work a move off of the penalty line out. Scrum Exeter, on their own 22.

53

Glasgow penalty

Glasgow go wide again, Kyle Rowe running some long lines, but finally he is shut down by a tight Exeter defence in the middle. Glasgow shift it again, but knock on.

However, an earlier off side call in the move allows Weir to kick for the corner.

50

Glasgow head back into Exeter’s half winning a scrum penalty.
