An absolute blinding try their from George Horne.
So many good things in this try. Sione Tuipulotu puts a little chip through for Kyle Steyn. The bounce is perfect and then Steyn’s offload to Jordan is perfect. The space then opens right up for the half back pairing.
Jordan sends Horne in who finishes the try under the posts at some speed.
Glasgow attacking Edinburgh’s try line, battering the Edinburgh defence. They then win a penalty with Marshall Sykes being sent to the sin bin.

Glasgow lose a penalty line out in Edinburgh’s 22, but then a hard fought effort in the rucks from Sione Vailanu and Tom Jordan sees them force the knock on and win the ball back. Scrum on Edinburgh’s 22.

George Turner clears Bill Mata, Sione Vailanu then gets a break, he moves it to Cancelliere, who then sends Tom Jordan in for Glasgow’s third try.

Richie Gray stretches and manages to steal the ball away from Edinburgh.
A lovely break from Tom Jordan, fending off Mark Bennett and then opening up the space in front of him.
He made 30 metres and then sends the ball wide to Cancelliere. Boffelli’s cover tackle was enough though to stop the Glasgow attack.
Tom Jordan sends the ball up to Edinburgh’s ten metre line with the opportunity to set up an attack from the line out.
Jack Dempsey breaks away from the set piece, taking Glasgow out of their own 22. Tom Jordan then sends the ball deep into opposition territory. Edinburgh will run this ball though.
Glasgow quickly turn the ball back over. Steyn forcing his opposite man to hold on in the ruck, allowing Glasgow to win back possession and take away the attacking threat from the hosts.
The opening exchanges see Glasgow run the ball wide with Steyn and Cancelliere breaking on the wing.
However, a lifting clear out sees Sione Vailanu penalised and Edinburgh handed a penalty, which they place in touch.

It’s the home side who hold the upper hand at the break, as tries from Jamie Ritchie and Luke Crosbie cancel out efforts from Kyle Steyn and Matt Fagerson, with Emiliano Boffelli’s boot proving the difference.

Edinburgh look to spring Kinghorn out the back, but McDowall does well to bring him down.
Pyrgos then chips ahead, but Smith covers and dots down for the drop-out.
Steyn does well to hit Kinghorn in the kick-chase and hold up the Edinburgh man, but it’ll be a scrum to the home side on halfway.

A brilliant maul splits the Edinburgh defence and Matt Fagerson is the man to get up with the ball!
Jordan can’t convert from the touchline but the gap is back to five.

Tuipulotu bursts through the midfield and carries fully 50 metres before being brought to deck.
Price’s chip ahead is for Steyn to chase, but the ball beats the man to touch.

Pyrgos’ kick is well claimed by Smith and the ball is spun wide for Tuipulotu.
The centre is well marshalled by the Edinburgh defence, though, and the ball spits out the side of the ruck and into touch for an Edinburgh throw.
Boffelli adds the conversion from out wide, and Edinburgh lead by 10.
This time Edinburgh make it count – the drive is repelled initially, but the secondary shove sees Luke Crosbie splinter away from the pack and finish in the corner.

Kinghorn goes cross-field for Boffelli but it’s overhit, so the play comes back for the penalty.
Kinghorn will go to touch once more.
This time the scrum goes the way of the home side, and the referee rewards them with a penalty.
Kinghorn finds touch 15m from the Glasgow line.
Brown does well to slow the ball, so Pyrgos kicks long.
Smith takes it well, though, before Price’s box-kick is fumbled by Mata and Glasgow have the scrum on halfway.
Back come the hosts again as Mata receives the drop-out, but Fraser Brown chops him down.
Ollie Smith then reads the kick and returns with interest, giving Edinburhg a lineout on halfway.
Brilliant work from Jordan and McDowall, as they hold van der Merwe up over the line and prevent the try.

Matt Fagerson trucks it up, before Price feeds Jordan for a low, skidding kick.
No mistake from Boffelli and Edinburgh lead 10-7.
Edinburgh return the favour, turning the Glasgow defence.
Mata then carries cleanly through the Glasgow defence and the Warriors go off their feet at the ruck.
Boffelli will kick for goal 20m from the Glasgow posts.

Harry Paterson takes it well, but Steyn is there to meet him 30m from the Edinburgh line.
Lucio Sordoni has picked up a blood injury, so Simon Berghan is on temporarily in his stead.
