Glasgow Warriors played their biggest home game to date, with over 27,500 people in attendance at Hampden Park.
Determined to put on a show, Glasgow Warriors held Edinburgh to a 33-14 win in the first leg of the 1872 Cup.
Ally Miller, caught up with glasgowwarriors.org to share his thoughts on the performance.
Despite leading 33-0, Edinburgh got two late tries. “What a frustrating last 10 minutes,” Miller said, “It will lead us well into next week though.
“We stuck to our processes, the first half especially and the start of the second half. It was really good fun!
“Being at a new stadium, here at Hampden was really fun!
“To have so many fans out here and coming out to watch and support the game is great!”

“We have been working on our away processes for the last few seasons. We will see it as another week, its always good fun going away from home now.”
Next weekend will see Edinburgh host the return leg at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
“Back up the good parts of today’s performance and, as every week, you don’t need to lose to get better.”
