BKT URC fixtures announced for 2025/26
Glasgow Warriors will open the 2025/26 season at home to the Hollywoodbets Sharks, after the BKT United Rugby Championship fixtures were revealed ahead of the new campaign.
Franco Smith’s team will host the Durban outfit on Friday 26 September, with kick-off scheduled for 8.05pm on the opening night of the season.

A trip to face Benetton in Treviso follows in round two, before the Warriors return home to welcome the Dragons to Scotstoun on Saturday 11 October (kick-off 5.30pm).
After a visit to the Ospreys, Glasgow close out the opening block of fixtures by taking on the Vodacom Bulls on Friday 24 October (kick-off 7.45pm) ahead of a month-long break for the Autumn Nations Series.
The Scarlets are the hosts for Glasgow’s first match back in BKT URC action in round six, before the 1872 Cup takes centre stage over the festive period.
Hampden Park will host the opening match of the double-header on Saturday 20 December, with the action shifting to Scottish Gas Murrayfield seven days later for the decider. Both matches will kick off at 3pm.
Zebre Parma will be the first visitors to Scotstoun in 2026, the Italian outfit visiting the home of the Warriors on Saturday 3 January (kick-off 7.45pm) to open the new calendar year, before Smith’s men travel to Parma on Saturday 24 January.
A return home to face Munster on Friday 30 January (kick-off 7.45pm) brings the Warriors up to the Guinness Six Nations break, with a trip to the Dexcom Stadium to face Connacht the sole fixture during the international window.
The BKT URC returns to Scotstoun with a brace of home fixtures in rounds 13 and 14, as the Warriors host Leinster on Saturday 21 March (kick-off 5.30pm) and Benetton on Friday 27 March (7.45pm).
Smith’s men then head to South Africa for their 2025/26 double-header, taking on the Emirates Lions and DHL Stormers on back-to-back weekends before returning to Scotstoun for their final home match of the campaign against Cardiff on Friday 8 May (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Warriors close out the regular season with a visit to Belfast to take on Ulster, with kick-off on Friday 15 May scheduled for 7.45pm.
In addition, a range of themed rounds such as Kids Round, Origin Round, and Unity Round will be confirmed by the BKT URC in the coming weeks, enhancing the match-day experience for fans and clubs alike.
The format of the competition remains unchanged, with the top eight teams progressing to the Play-Offs beginning May 29. The Semi-Finals will be played on June 6, followed by the Grand Final on June 20 to crown the 2025/26 champions.
Broadcast coverage for fixtures will continue to evolve, with additional partners to be announced as talks with a Free-to-air partner in the UK and in international territories continue.
