Academy players training at Scotstoun
Eight members of the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy, announced today, are training with Glasgow Warriors for block one of pre-season.
The Stage 3 players will join a select number of Scotland 7s and club rugby players in boosting pre-season squad depth at Scostoun ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Front-row pair Euan McLaren and Murphy Walker both represented Scotland at the U20s World Championships in Argentina having been Stage 3 players last year.
Second-row duo Cameron Henderson and Marshall Sykes also retain their Stage 3 status and were both involved in Carl Hogg’s squad this summer.
Fly-half Ross Thompson and utility back Ollie Smith continue as Stage 3 players having also gained experience in Rosario with the U20s.
Midfielders Grant Hughes and Robbie McCallum are new additions to this year’s pool of Stage 3 players.
